Synchronous electronic attendance refers to the trainee's participation in live virtual classrooms through the platform's officially approved electronic systems.
Attendance and Participation Controls
- Electronic participation in synchronous virtual sessions is considered equivalent to physical attendance in training rooms.
- In asynchronous e-learning programs exceeding one month in duration, a minimum synchronous electronic attendance of 25% of total program hours is required.
- In blended learning programs (virtual and in-person) exceeding one month in duration, direct or synchronous virtual attendance must not fall below 25% of total program hours.
- All trainees are required to participate actively in accordance with the approved timeline and content of the training program.
- Successful program completion requires attendance of no less than 80% of total scheduled training hours.
Scope of Application and Compliance
These policies apply to all trainees enrolled in the Open Learning Platform of the Institute of Research, Studies, and Consulting at the University of Baha. All institute and platform staff are committed to implementing and monitoring compliance. Any violation of these policies will result in the appropriate disciplinary and regulatory measures being applied in accordance with the applicable internal regulations.
